Due to the pandemic, TEECA East is planned held again in November 2 to 4, 2022, at the Atlantic Sands Hotel & Conference Center in Rehoboth Beach.
The 2019 TEECA Eastern Regional Conference was held from November 7–9, 2019 at the Atlantic Sands Hotel and Conference Center in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. That year’s conference was co-hosted by the Technology, Engineering, and Design program at NC State and the California University of Pennsylvania.
TEECA stands for the Technology & Engineering Education Collegiate Association and consists of college students who are usually preparing for careers as educators in public schools. The primary purposes are for college students to become the next generation of leaders in education and learn how to lead their students in their associations and competitive events. Non-education majors who are involved in the TEECA affiliated student association at a university may also participate in the competitions. TEECA is one of the councils of the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association.
The TEECA Eastern Regional Conference is held each fall and attracts participants from colleges and universities up and down the east coast. College faculty attend this professional development conference with their students to assist with coordinating competitions and interacting with their students outside the classroom. The following higher education institutions participate in the TEECA Eastern Regional Conference on a regular basis:
